About Evening Star ..
Paul James formed Evening Star to play original material influenced by European traditional music, culture and contemporary sounds. Patrick Bouffard is the most influential French hurdy-gurdy player of his generation and plays with the much revered band La chavannée from the Bourbonnais region of central France. Virtuoso accordionist Luke Daniels tours with the Cara Dillon Band, the Riverdance Orchestra and his critically acclaimed solo projects. Paul James is a saxophonist, bagpiper and singer who plays with the band Blowzabella. Victor Nicholls has collaborated with many jazz and folk musicians playing bass, electric guitar, tuba and electronics in ways that defy easy description.
